Shoot at sunrise, not sunset
Sunrise locations are empty. The same viewpoint at 6am and at 6pm produces completely different pictures because of crowds alone.
Two outfits maximum per half day
Changing eats light. Two well-chosen outfits beat four rushed ones.
Check permits in advance
Forts, protected monuments, some lakes and most private estates require written permission and a fee for commercial shoots.
Scout the exact spot
We visit the location before the date wherever possible, because a location that works in April can be closed or overgrown in August.
