Parsi Wedding photographers in Pune

Parsi weddings are intimate, punctual and rich in symbolism. The Achumichu and Hathevaro rituals are quiet, fast and completely unrepeatable.

Local plan

Shooting a parsi wedding in Pune

Pune weddings run the full range, from a three-hour Marathi muhurat in a Peth wada to a three-day banquet celebration on the Mumbai-Bangalore highway belt. Most muhurats fall early in the morning, so the working light is soft and the schedule is tight.

Evening ceremonies at the agiary or baug. In Pune that usually means the crew is at the venue well before the family, with lighting already rigged for the mandap.

Season note: November to February gives clear mornings and comfortable evenings. Monsoon weddings (June-September) need covered mandap plans and fast lenses.

Our Pune team covers the full PMC and PCMC belt plus Lonavala, Ahmednagar and Nashik as a same-day drive.

Questions

Parsi Wedding in Pune

01
Do you have photographers who have shot Parsi Weddings in Pune?
Yes. We assign crews who already know the Parsi ritual order, including Rupia Peravanu, Madhavsaro, Achumichu, so nobody has to be told where to stand.
02
What time does a Parsi Wedding usually happen?
Evening ceremonies at the agiary or baug.
03
How many photographers do we need for a Parsi Wedding?
Two photographers and one cinematographer is the usual minimum for a single-venue ceremony. Where functions run in parallel, or the guest count crosses four hundred, we add a second team.
04
Which rituals matter most photographically?
Rupia Peravanu (Engagement); Madhavsaro (Tree planting ritual); Achumichu (Welcome ritual with egg, coconut and rice); Ara Antar (Curtain between the couple). These are unrepeatable, so the crew is positioned before they start.
