Shooting a muslim nikah in Pune
Pune weddings run the full range, from a three-hour Marathi muhurat in a Peth wada to a three-day banquet celebration on the Mumbai-Bangalore highway belt. Most muhurats fall early in the morning, so the working light is soft and the schedule is tight.
Nikah often after evening prayers; walima the following day. In Pune that usually means the crew is at the venue well before the family, with lighting already rigged for the mandap.
Season note: November to February gives clear mornings and comfortable evenings. Monsoon weddings (June-September) need covered mandap plans and fast lenses.
Our Pune team covers the full PMC and PCMC belt plus Lonavala, Ahmednagar and Nashik as a same-day drive.

Questions
Muslim Nikah in Pune
- Do you have photographers who have shot Muslim Nikahs in Pune?
- Yes. We assign crews who already know the Muslim ritual order, including Mangni, Manjha, Mehendi, so nobody has to be told where to stand.
- What time does a Muslim Nikah usually happen?
- Nikah often after evening prayers; walima the following day.
- How many photographers do we need for a Muslim Nikah?
- Two photographers and one cinematographer is the usual minimum for a single-venue ceremony. Where functions run in parallel, or the guest count crosses four hundred, we add a second team.
- Which rituals matter most photographically?
- Mangni (Engagement); Manjha (Turmeric ceremony); Mehendi (Henna night); Baraat and Istikbal (Groom's party welcomed). These are unrepeatable, so the crew is positioned before they start.
